Laser Leg Vein treatments

The laser delivers a measured pulse of heat in a series of pulses to each vein treated. The heat caused the blood in the vessel to coagulate and the vein will later disappear.
The feeling experiences is that of a "hot pulse or snap" followed by a mild sunburn sensation and puffiness which is usually gone within an hour or so.
Rigorous activity is avoided for 24 hrs.
Bruising if it occurs is usually minimal and resolves over the course of a week.
The laser is appropriate for superficial varicosities with diameter of less than 3 to 4 mm.
Larger, bulging, "ropey" vessels require other types of treatment modalities.
